Delivery job description

We are looking for new mail delivery persons for PKS Jakelu to deliver addressed mail, letters, magazines and small packages, to subscribers directly to their doorstep or mailbox.

The delivery job is flexible in day shifts of approximately four to eight hours on weekdays. Morning flutters start work already around 7 a.m. and those who appreciate slow mornings can start later up until 10 a.m.

We expect you to have an independent and prompt approach to work, a positive attitude and some knowledge of the Helsinki metropolitan area. We train you for the job, so more important than previous experience is the capability to learn new, good driving skills and fluent Finnish or English skills. For the job you’ll need at least 18 years of age, your own car and a driving license.

We offer you a job in a nice team for the winter or even longer. Your job is in Helsinki, Espoo or Vantaa, according to the agreement. In accordance with the collective agreement for mail delivery, wages are paid twice a month according to the district time model, which is influenced, for example, by the number of products to be delivered, the length of the route and the structure of the route. For using our own car, we pay a tax-free kilometre allowance.

The delivery work is suitable for people who have a driving license and their own car available for delivery job and who are ready to work five days a week.  Knowledge of the Helsinki metropolitan area also has a big advantage in delivery routes.
